HCH CIRCUS SUMMER CAMP 2024

HCH CIRCUS SUMMER CAMP – 2024 – MINNEAPOLIS

FULL DAY CAMP FROM 9am – 3pm Monday – Friday

City of Lakes Waldorf School – Whittier campus and Fair Oaks Park
Minneapolis, MN

Hup (clap) HEY! Is back again for our fourth year of offering high quality circus summer camps right here in Minneapolis! We are excited to announce that this year we will be offering FOUR weeks of our wildly popular camp. We will be bookending our summer with two weeks at the start of summer and two weeks at the end.

Jason Burnstein and Elena Orsak share their love of circus, music, and performance in these four weeks of low pressure, high fun circus-themed camps.  Students will have ample opportunity to play, explore, learn, and perform.

NEW THIS YEAR: ALL WEEKS ARE OPEN TO ALL RISING 1st – 8th GRADERS. There will be an “open house” style sharing of singing and circus skills on the last day of Weeks 1 and 3. There will be a casual student-led circus performance at the end of Weeks 2 and 4.

Looking for a low stress, introduction to circus arts without the pressure of performing? – Try weeks 1 and 3. Perfect for our youngest circus campers.

WEEK 1: June 10th – 14th with an “open house” style sharing of singing and circus skills on the last day.

WEEK 2: June 17th – 21st with a casual circus performance at the end for family and friends to enjoy.

WEEK 3: August 19th – 23rd with an “open house” style sharing of singing and circus skills on the last day.

WEEK 4: August 26th – 30th with a casual circus performance at the end for family and friends to enjoy.

The cost is $420 / week (includes a camp shirt).

We believe strongly in the idea of “circus fun for everyone”. Financial aid is available. Please inquire.

There will be a limited number of spots available for older students (rising 9th grade and up) for either session to serve as counselors-in-training and to deepen their own circus chops. If interested please reach out at info@hupclaphey.org. These spots are free of charge and are a wonderful way to get volunteer hours for high school credit.
